- Description
- Role - Production Assembly Operative - Salary - £24,000-£28,000 - Location - Buckinghamshire - Company. - My client is an exclusive and entirely independent lighting design consultancy. Due to having no direct association with any manufacturer they have a free-reign approach to scheme design. From scheme design, project procurement, bespoke product design and project management, not to mention continued support beyond handover. - Key Responsibilities of the role but NOT limited too. - Responsible for the accurate and timely picking of production orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Record process data correctly.
- Working as a team to achieve production targets.
- Complete production orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all tools used for production are maintained to a good standard.
- Produce parts in accordance with technical requirements.
- Ensure all processes are followed.
- Assist in other departments when required to do so by the business.
- Work in a safe manner complying with HSE requirements.
 
 
 - Skills - Experience in mechanical assembly
- Basic electrical wiring experience (e.g. Can you wire a Plug?)
- Positive - can do attitude.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) are essential
- Team Player.
- Motivated to improve professionally.
- Comfortable working with mechanical tools.
- Physically able to meet the jobs demands.
- Previous assembly/stores experience is beneficial.
- Can work effectively alone and in a team
