Commissioning Engineer - Emergency Lighting

Location: Essex, Kent, and East Anglia

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle

Our client, a leading name in the emergency lighting industry, is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their team. Based in the Essex, Kent, or East Anglia region, you will be responsible for commissioning and carrying out minor maintenance on the company's proprietary emergency lighting systems across a variety of sites within the designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commissioning of wired, wireless, and DALI emergency lighting systems.



• Conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs on installed systems.



• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.



• Liaising with clients on-site to provide a professional and efficient service.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified electrician, ideally with City & Guilds 2391 and/or 18th Edition 2382.



• Proven technical service experience in lighting maintenance and commissioning.



• Familiarity with both wired and wireless emergency lighting systems, including DALI protocol.



• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Partial qualifications considered, with willingness to complete further training and qualifications provided by the company.
