Installations Engineer
Up to 35k DOE
22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays. Increases by 1 day per year up to 24 days. Van, Fuel Card, Tools included. Paid door-to-door.

Due to planned growth within the Installations department, my client is looking to for an experienced Telematics Engineers to join their growing business. You will be responsible for installing their own products such as Trackers, Alarms & Immobilisers on vehicles such as Cars & Bikes. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm with 30-minute lunch. OR Mon – Thursday, 10-hour days. Not required to work weekends, although overtime is available at time & 1/3 on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.

The Role

• Perform allocated work on time, accurately and with high quality.
• Ability to demonstrate good attention to detail
• Deal with the installation of Trackers, Alarms and Immobilisers (70% of the work is installing Trackers)
• Generate any fault reports and document in detail
• Demonstrate ability to use own initiative and problem-solving abilities
• Training provided at their Head Office in Chorley. (Hotel provided and paid for by the company, unless within a commutable distance)

Skills & Experience required

• High level of knowledge in Telematics and different types of vehicles
• Willingness to learn and progress in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to solve technical problems
• Able to commute around your local area. Work will be within 1 hour – 1 hour 30 minutes from home address
• Attend to customer locations to undertake fault finding, diagnostics and any repairs
• Experience within Telematics is essential
• Full UK driving license
