Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Office-based with hybrid working available

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and innovative Audio-Visual installation and service provider based in Huntingdon. They are seeking an experienced AV Designer to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, skilled designer who can hit the ground running and contribute to a wide range of residential, commercial, and marine AV projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating detailed, accurate designs that support installation teams and ensure exceptional project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Producing comprehensive AV system designs, schematics, and layout drawings
- Creating documentation to support install teams and project managers
- Working closely with engineers to refine system solutions
- Using CAD and other design tools to develop accurate project drawings
- Supporting system development, specification, and technical decision-making
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in AV system design (essential)
- Proficiency with CAD software; experience with 3D design tools is highly beneficial
- Strong technical understanding of AV systems, signal flow, and industry standards
- Someone confident, proactive, and capable of working independently
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- A team player who can communicate effectively with engineers, PMs, and clients
- Someone ready to step in and contribute from day one
