Package/Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (DOE), Career Progression, 33 days holiday (inc banks), healthcare, and other company benefits
The Company
My client is an award-winning provider of Video Solutions and LED Screens.
Providing solutions across many exciting projects in Live Music, Theatre, and Film & TV.
They are growing and looking for the latest member of their team.
The Role
As the Technical Prep Manager, you will be assisting in the preparation, servicing, and maintenance of video equipment as well as the building and configuration of custom racks for a variety of different projects.
You will also be overseeing the Rack Build Technicians and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Assembling custom LED, Video, and server processing racks
- Preparing and returning equipment from events
- Maintaining stock levels of consumable items
- PAT testing
- Maintaining accurate records in the company rental software system
- Ensuring cleanliness of the warehouse
- Fault testing and maintenance of equipment
- Training junior Rack Build Technicians
- Conducting regular 1 to 1s
- Working to maintain and develop company procedures as they relate to rack builds and equipment preparation
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Able to terminate and solder cables (RJ45, BNC, etc)
- Understanding of computer networks and video signals
- Experience configuring technical video and network equipment
- Previous experience working in live entertainment
- Able to work as a team player and manage a team
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
