Salary: £38,000 – £44,000 per year + overtime and call-out paymentsWe are looking for an experienced Security Installation and Service Engineer to join our growing team in Barrow-in-Furness. The Role
Reporting to the management team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and commissioning of security systems
- Maintenance, servicing, and fault finding
- Supporting remote monitoring systems when required
- Completing job sheets and audit paperwork (manual and electronic)
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites
Requirements
Essential experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security systems industry (excluding training)
- Competent in installation and commissioning of security systems
- Strong maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Willingness to participate in a 24-hour call-out rota
- Good understanding of NSI Gold standards
- Full UK driving licence
Screening requirements
- BS7858:2009 screening
- Security Check (SC) clearance
- Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
- Police check
