Position: Account Manager – Water Treatment
Location: Manchester, or Northwest
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, Company car or allowance, Work ware/PPE, Uncapped commission, & Career progression within a growing company.
Purpose of the role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of water treatment clients. This role combines account management, business development, and technical consultation, ensuring customers receive high-quality water treatment solutions and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
- Build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and account reviews.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and contract renewals.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations relating to water treatment systems and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional services, products, and contract renewals.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Maintain CRM records and support sales targets.
You must have or hold
- Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, or a related industry.
- Proven account management or business development experience.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and commercial skills.
- Knowledge of cooling towers, closed systems, boilers, and Legionella compliance is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
