A new opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected packaging machinery manufacturer. This is a Field Service Engineer role ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys working in a hands-on, customer-facing environment. You will be working on a range of technically advanced packaging machinery, supporting customers across the UK and Ireland.

Salary £35,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Company Car + Benefits

The Role
- Service, repair, install and commission a range of packaging machinery
- Travel to customer sites across the UK and Ireland
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support
- Work with automation, controls, electrical and pneumatic systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on-site
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
- Experience within packaging machinery, automation, food processing or a similar capital equipment environment
- Confident fault finding and diagnosing technical issues
- Experience with PLCs, automation and control systems would be advantageous
- Able to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Proactive, professional and able to work independently on-site
- A genuine team player who values customer satisfaction
