Position: Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £34,000 with door to door travel at overtime rate

We are looking for an experienced commercial refrigeration engineer to cover service, maintenance and breakdown mainly within the Newcastle area

This position will be dealing with cellar cooling, small cold rooms and under counter refrigeration with a very small number of split systems. Working with clients that include; hotel chains, petrol forecourts, public houses etc

The right person for this position will already have a strong commercial refrigeration background, it would be an advantage if they have dealt with cellar cooling

This position is very regional, however when on call they will be expected to travel along the east coast and areas of Yorkshire

Requirements

• Experienced in dealing with the service, maintenance and breakdown of commercial refrigeration
• Based in the North East
• Experience in working within petrol forecourts or public houses would be an advantage
• Happy to work on a small number of split systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Fgas 2079
• Willing to travel out of the area while on call

Package

• Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
• Door to door travel
• Travel time can be paid at overtime rate
• On call one week in five
• On call allowance
• Company van
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
