My client is a well established air-conditioning business, the family started by offering an exceptional service to the local industry. After 45 years of trading, they have now become a nationwide service and they are still able to offer that exceptional service. Due to growth within the company, they are looking for an experienced installation engineer to join their friendly, loyal and extraordinary team. With years of experience across the industry they have set standards that has gained them accreditation from Mitsubishi, Daikin, Safe contractor and more. This has allowed them to work on small and large projects across leading retail businesses and are looking to continue expanding across to UK.
The Role:
- The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding in Air-Conditioning. Although the company are willing to train from scratch with little to no experience
- Preferably based in Birmingham/Herefordshire/Midlands
- However, on a day-to-day basis you will be expected to travel across the UK
- You will always be working alongside an experienced installation engineer to help with heavy lifting and basic jobs
- Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend work (time ½ Saturday, double Sunday)
Experience and Skills required:
- Basic understanding of the HVAC industry is preferred but not essential as they are willing to train from scratch with little to no experience
- Desired - Full UK driving licence (Not a must as will be working alongside an installation engineer)
In return:
My client is willing to pay door to door travel and overtime of time ½ after 40 hours no matter what the distance, which would see you earn more than the basic.
You will be put through your F-Gas free of charge and there are other opportunities to do additional training
They are a constantly growing company with experience in helping trainee engineers move up the ladder. On average within 18 months to 2 years a trainee engineer has become a fully qualified installation engineer. Full training is offered to help you up the ladder if you show enthusiasm and passion for the job.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get their first step into engineering and advance in the industry!
