My client is part of a large globally known manufacturer and have been producing fluid power and electronic products for over 25 years to various industries including marine, gas, construction and many more. Due to exciting growth periods and demands they are now looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to be based on their site in Southam. This Internal Sales role is for an experienced salesperson with strong knowledge of Hydraulic and Electronic products, who can maintain strong relationships with existing customers while building strong relationships with new clients. Working directly with various departments to ensure the clients requirements are managed effectively.

£28,000 - £35,000 (DOE) – bonus, pension and private medical.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Source new business.
• Respond to clients’ requirements.
• Providing quotations and technical support.
• Process and respond to customer issues.
• Provide technical support for internal staff members.
• Maintain knowledge of industry to enable effective technical support.
• Register quotes and returns on relevant database.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• A good understanding of Microsoft Office Software.
• Sound Technical knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical products including valves, solenoids, manifolds and Hydraulic/electronic accessories.
• Industrial knowledge / experience working within Offshore, Gas, Hydraulics, Construction and Marine sectors.
• Strong understanding of electronic control systems
• Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills both written and verbally.
• Strong Fluid Power knowledge.
• Experience of closing and negotiation techniques.
• Adaptable and flexible on managing workload.
