£35,000 - £43,000 DOE, plus benefits package

A brilliant opportunity has come up to work with a one of the biggest packaging companies in the world that works in the Retail, FMCG, Ecommerce, Industrial, Pharma and Automotive industries. The company has been running for 50+ years as a manufacturer and are now seeking an account manager who can nurture and grow existing accounts particularly in the FMCG sector.
This role will include office work, but with travel due to the nature of the role. The role is now available due to an increase in workload and growth. They are now actively looking to recruit an Account Manager who is driven and is looking for progression.
Your day-to-day duties will be based around creating new opportunities for the company to increase margin with proactive projects. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:
- A minimum of 3-6 years+ experience in account management in sectors such as packaging, fmcg, industrial or retail. Other applicants are welcome to apply.
- Must have a great understanding of the UK market particularly in the southwest
- You must be happy developing current accounts and developing new opportunities and building on your successes.
- A sense of business relationships and customer service
- High interest in the technical dimension of the products
