Position - Finance Assistant / Officer
Location - Preston
Salary / Package - £24000 - £28000, dependent on experience. Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm, 1 hour Lunch (Flexible), 24 days holiday excluding Banks, enrolment into working pension, perks/benefits.

My client specialise in all types of Health Sector projects, ranging from full ward refurbishments, change of use, general facilities and building maintenance.
Job Purpose
To provide effective and efficient book - keeping/invoicing support and guidance.
Key Duties
- Carry out invoicing of all works and liaising with contract managers to ensure accurate accounts.
- Supplier invoice matching against Purchase orders.
- Process supplier invoices through to accounting software
- File, retrieve and maintain office documents.
- To follow agreed procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and processes.
- Deal with incoming queries through to completion via email and telephone
- Monitor inbox for urgent requests and action in a timely manner
- Provide phone cover on a rota basis between the hours of 8am - 5pm

We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team, in a fast paced environment. Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
