Location: West Bromwich
£20,000 - £25,000 plus employee assistance program, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days
I am currently working with a leading wastewater treatment company who are well known for their excellent reputation and exceptional customer service.
Based in the Midlands they have been established for a number of years and are a medium sized company with plans for growth.
Due to continued success, they are looking for a Documentation Clerk to join their growing and professional team.
Summary of the role:
Coordinate the production of documentation required for customer orders, working with the project, design, purchasing and aftermarket departments to meet quality and time objectives. Completing all assigned activities under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Liaise with departments, external customers and external suppliers on all matters related to collation, coordination, production and checking of internal and customer documentation
- Maintain an accessible and effective system or database of documentation production status to report to departments progress of all documentation under production
- Coordinate with the project and design departments access to an update of customer portals
- Continuously improve documentation standards, proposing changes to company policies and procedures
- Support the production of bills of materials as required inputting into the companies ERP system from engineering information
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Based within a commutable distance of West Bromwich
- Have the ability to read, analyse and interpret documentation related to the Engineering Department standards
- Strong computer skills including MS Office & TEAMS
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Hold experience within Documentation or Administration
- Ideally you will have worked within an Engineering company
