My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing pneumatic products. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. Having in house design engineers enables them to manufacture bespoke products whilst working closely with customer to provide a first-class service. They are now looking to add a driven Internal Support Engineer to their team.
Internal Sales Engineer

£25,000 - £38,000 Depending on Experience.
25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays
Workings Hours are Mon- Thurs 8.30am until 5pm and 8.30am until 1pm on Friday.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide technical support to other areas of the company (Operations, sales and quality) as well as the customers.
- Register quotations on the relevant databases internally.
- Producing costings and Bills of Material information.
- Assisting in the development of sales processes.
- Establish clients’ requirements and produce quotes.
- Researching the most suitable products for clients based on their specifications / needs.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Establish new relationships with 1st time buyers.
- Provide after sales support for clients both new and existing.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Fluid Power / engineering qualifications are advantageous.
- Good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Knowledge of components including but not limited too - valves, solenoids, cylinders and control systems.
- Experience working within a technical support / sales role is desirable.
- Planning and time management.
- Negotiation and closing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
