My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing pneumatic / hydraulic products. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. Having in house design engineers enables them to manufacture bespoke products whilst working closely with customer to provide a first-class service. They are now looking to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to their ever-expanding team. The Quality Assurance Engineer will take a leading role in investigations, identifying root cause and driving actions to prevent future issues.

£28,000 - £40,000 Depending on Experience.
25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays
Workings Hours are Mon- Thurs 8.30am until 5pm and 8.30am until 1pm on Friday.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Liaise with suppliers’ quality related issues, to determine Corrective And Preventive Actions.
- Take a leading role in Con – Conformance, complaint investigations.
- Identifying RCA.
- Measure and monitor performances – Collecting data, producing reports.
- Facilitate Process Improvements.
- Facilitate First Article Inspections.
- Perform ISO 9001 Audits to ensure compliance to standards and procedures.
- Support external Audits with Quality Management.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- 3 years minimum Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting ISO 9001 Audits.
- Knowledge of TQM tools and techniques.
- Engineering Qualification.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work alone and within a team.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Reliable.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Motivated to be a success.
