My client is a OEM of end of line flexible packaging machines that include carton & case machines, suppling machines worldwide to the food & pharmaceutical industry my client employs 30 staff members in the UK.
Role
- Installation, service, repair, commissioning of packaging machinery
- Reading electrical diagrams
- Working with pneumatics & hydraulics
- Fault finding on PLC’s
- Traveling worldwide to customers sites
- Staying away from home from 2/3 night per week and sometimes longer when on international service
- Dealing with software issues on the HMI
- Running ethernet cables
Requirements/Skills
- Mechanical bias engineering with electrical understanding
- Experience on mechanical systems no qualifications needed
- Open to travel and be OK with staying nights away
