Description

My client is a world renown industry leader of fluid flow equipment. With over 75 years’ experience within the industry, they have established a huge market around the global and with this they are looking to add THREE new Field Engineers to their experienced engineering team. As a Field engineer you will be working remotely in the field visiting clients daily. As a field Engineer you are the face of the business and have the chance to really make a difference.

Field Service Engineer

Location: London Area

£30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, van, fuel card, private healthcare, company pension scheme, uniform, specific tools supplied but basic tools are expected to be owned by engineers.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Attending clients’ sites before designated times.
  • Ensuring you are always professional and presentable.
  • Keep up to date with industry related technologies.
  • Ensure you always follow site safety policies.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
  • Manage vehicle stock levels.
  • Identify future potential opportunities whilst on sites.
  • Provide professional, honest feedback to help support departments further development.

To apply you MUST have or hold:


  • NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Pumps.
  • Manual Handling / Safe Lifting Certification.
  • Experience in Pressurisation Units.
  • Asbestos Awareness Certification.
  • An Understanding of the Mechanical Pump industry
  • Experience of working within the Mechanical Pump industry is a benefit.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Valid CSCS card or expired within the last 2 years.
  • Experience of System controls.
  • DBS Check
  • Experience of working in a field-based role.
