Ever wondered how it would be to work for one of the largest Corrugate companies in the work?
A client of ours in the Packaging Industry is looking for a Business Development Manager who can join their team of External salespeople. This role will be primarily selling packaging solutions to large blue-chip clients and offering innovative and new ways of packaging their products. This company has invested in their own design team to aid with the development of these products to make sure you can offer the client the best packaging fit for their needs.
You will be expected to be out on the road attending meetings that you have booked with clients around the area. The role is technically UK based but the travel that you do depends on the companies you bring in. The role will be primarily new business with it being a split of 70% new business and 30% Account Management.
Experience they are looking for:
- 3+ Years of experience in a Business Development Manager or similar role
- Experience in selling into the FMCG, Manufacturing or Packaging industry
- Experience in a target driven environment
Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager:
- New Business Sales and Account Management
- Gaining new business from any means possible (Emailing, Cold Calling, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Out on the road visiting clients whether its an introduction or getting business over the line
- Maintaining relationships with big clients and regular visiting
- Using the Design and technical team to you advantage when selling
