Position: Static Building Services Engineer

Location: Central Reading

Salary: From £36,000 to £38,000 plus package

Duration: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer for a static site in the centre of Reading.

We are looking for an experienced M&E Engineer to deal with mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance for this busy office block in a very commutable location.

The right person for this position will have a strong mechanical background, being able to deal with ahu and fan coil maintenance, plant room maintenance, basic plumbing etc, as well as dealing with electrical works such as emergency lighting and alarm test compliance

We would prefer this person to be holding a minimum of a level 2 qualification within building services. Due to it being a static site, we do not require a UK driving licence.

There is an opportunity to join an on call system if they want to, so for this we will require a driving licence

Requirements

• Strong working background in commercial building services maintenance
• Based in a short commute to the centre of Reading
• Strong plant room and mechanical knowledge
• Able to deal with all areas of building maintenance
• Level 2 qualifications in building services (mechanical or electrical)
• A driving licence is not required unless they want to join the on call rota

Package

• Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
• Annual company bonus
• 22 day holiday plus bank holidays
• No on call unless they want to do so
• Pension
• Monday to Friday position
