- Description
My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing pneumatic / hydraulic products. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. Having in house design engineers enables them to manufacture bespoke products whilst working closely with customer to provide a first-class service. They are now looking to add an Office Administrator to their experienced department to aid with the company’s customer services and financial functions.

£21,000 - £23,000 Depending on Experience.
25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays
Workings Hours are Mon- Thurs 8.30am until 5pm and 8.30am until 1pm on Friday.
Company Pension and Sick Pay Schemes.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing relevant documentation for overseas shipping.
- Entering customers’ orders.
- Raising quotations for customers.
- Entering purchase invoices correctly into the ERP system.
- Matching delivery notes to supplier invoices.
- Processing sales and sales order despatch notes.
- Sending order acknowledgments to customers via email.
- Keeping data sheets up to date.
- General office duties including taking phone calls, welcoming visitors, filing, and photocopying.
- Liaising with various departments withing the company.
- Any other duties required by line managers.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Grade A – C in GCSE Maths and English.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Be able to plan and organise workload.
- Be calm under pressure.
- Have a positive, “can do” attitude.
- Ale to work alone and in a team.
- Confident dealing with customers and colleagues.
- SAGE experience is desirable.
- Experience of working within overseas shipping or logistics is advantageous.
- Be able to work office hours.
