- Description
My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing pneumatic products. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. They are now actively looking for an individual to join their Assembly Team. Having in house design engineers enables them to manufacture bespoke products whilst working closely with customer to provide a first - class service. During this role you will be working in the final assembly of valves and solenoids whilst supporting various departments as and when required.
Light Assembly Operative

Minimum wage – to be reviewed in April.8am – 4.45pm (Mon – Thurs) 8am-12pm (Friday) with the option of over time – being paid at time and a half and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities of the role but NOT limited too.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely picking of production orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Record process data correctly.
- Working as a team to achieve production targets.
- Complete production orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all tools used for production are maintained to a good standard.
- Produce parts in accordance with technical requirements.
- Ensure all processes are followed.
- Assist in other departments when required to do so by the business.
- Operating manual / electric (pneumatic) tools
- Work in a safe manner complying with HSE requirements.
Skills
- Positive – can do attitude.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) are essential
- Team Player.
- Motivated to improve professionally.
- Comfortable working with mechanical tools.
- Physically able to meet the jobs demands.
- Previous assembly/stores experience is beneficial.
- Can work effectively alone and in a team
