My Client is a Global Systems integrator of end of line packaging machines, Supplying turnkey & full line solutions mainly to the Food & Beverage sector. My client has 7 manufacturing facilities which employs 800 people worldwide, they have carried out projects & installations in 50+ countries.
Role
- Mechanical design of automated packaging machines such as palletizers, depalletizers, tray packing, robotic solutions, destrapper plus many more
- Design packages: AutoCAD/ Solidworks
- Liaising with customers on proposals & quotes
- Design using sheet metal & fabrication
- Dealing with factory layouts and design throughout
- Providing customer with design calculations
- Specification of detailed design projects
- Providing mechanical design bespoke solutions to clients
- Working on multiple projects at once
- Providing quotes for large design projects ranging from £200k/£800k/£1m
- Manage the project for a design perspective through (can take months)
Qualifications & skills
- HNC/HND Mechanical design
- 3 Years plus experience Packaging/Process/Capital equipment background
