£23,000 - £27,000 base salary + OTE £30,000+, + Company car or Van + Health insurance + Pension + Holidays.

I am currently representing a global manufacturer of CNC mill-turn centres, who are providing the opportunity for an ambitious time served apprentice engineer or equivalent to take the next steps in their career. As a pre-delivery inspector you will receive world class training on their impressive product portfolio to enable them to grow within the company on whichever route they see fit, whether that is service or maintenance engineering. Pre-delivery inspectors play a hugely important role in maintaining clients satisfaction by ensuring that machines are expertly prepared for efficient installations. This is an unrivalled opportunity for an aspiring engineer to develop within an established market leading manufacturer.

The Role:

• You will prepare and inspect the machines before they are delivered to make sure they are standardised and the high standards are maintained.
• Ensuring that the machines are configured for the specific market requirements.
• Performing vital safety checks.
• Playing a key role in streamlining the process to reduce the downtime during installations.

Requirements:

• You must have the right to work in the UK
• Full clean driving licence and be within commutable distance to the factory in Derby.
• Apprenticeship or degree educated in engineering and beyond.
• You must have an eye for detail and a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Experience with CNC machine tools is preferable.
• Experience with Fanuc is desirable but not essential.
• Previous PDI experience is not essential but is desirable.
