Position: Static Mechanical Engineer

Location: Swindon

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 to £36,000 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an engineering team based in Swindon

This team are looking to take on a mechanical engineer to join the team of electricians, plumbers, mechanical and fabric engineers.

This engineer will be working on plant room equipment as well as compressed air and managing the steam boiler. It would be an advantage if this person has steam boiler experience, however training will be given

The right person for this position will have a strong background in mechanical plant rooms maintenance, able to deal with pumps and compressed air. If they have done the steam boiler qualification in the past it would be an advantage

Requirements

• Strong mechanical maintenance background
• Proven track record of working on plant room equipment and compressed air
• Based in a short commute to Swindon
• Minumum of a level 2 mechanical qualification
• Full UK driving licence is preferred
• Experience working on steam boilers will be an added advantage
• Must be happy to join the on-call service
