Tank Installation Engineer
Location: London
£25,000 - £33,000 plus company van, fuel card, phone, tablet, share scheme, discount offerings, private pension and 23 days holiday excluding statutory days.
I am currently working with a company that provides water treatment and hygiene services in the areas of Legionella risk assessment, chemical water treatment services, hot and cold water monitoring and inspection services, cleaning and disinfection, independent consultancy services, training and monitoring services, and plant and equipment-supply and refurbishment works.
They are currently looking for an additional Tank Installation Engineer to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Hands on installation, servicing and repair of tanks
- Installation, service and repair of plumbing, pumps and water treatment equipment
- Emergency call out activity occasionally outside normal working hours
- Carry out point of work risk assessments
- Undertake planned and unplanned installation & service activity as allocated by the tank installation manager and back office engineering support
- Perform routine maintenance work when required
- Explain and demonstrate correct use of equipment if necessary
- Test and commission all work prior to leaving the worksite
- Deliver and install tanks, new equipment and water treatment systems
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Full UK driving licence
- At least 2 years experience installing tanks within water treatment/water utilities
- Able to carry out full de-commissioning, demolition and removal of old tanks
- Ideally based within a commutable distance of London
- Have the ability to carry out installation and commissioning of new tanks, including all associated plumbing, valves, level controls, pumps etc.
