Machine Tool Service Engineer
Southwest and the Midlands.
£38,000, - £45,000 + 10% salary bonus + Overtime + Premier Inn account + meal allowance + Estate or A3 model company vehicle available for personal use + fuel card + Medical Insurance.
My client is a world leading machine tool OEM providing energy efficient complete solutions for precision components and tool manufacturers.
They control 75% of the market share and boast an impressive client range from Aston Martin to Rolex and have recently won on several exciting projects so they are looking to expand their team by 10 engineers in the South Coast and the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled maintenance or service engineer to join a company offering world class training in Switzerland and join their mission of proving an outstanding level of service nationwide.
They have a fantastic level of staff retention in their service team as they minimise the number of overnight stays necessary within the role to avoid burnout. They also offer nationwide and worldwide progression opportunities for engineers excelling within the role.
The Role:
- You will predominantly be responding to break downs and providing the highest level of service to their clients.
- Commissioning, recommissioning, and de-commissioning machines
- Performing installations.
- Overnight stays estimated at around 2 nights away per month.
Requirements
- A Valid Passport to travel to training in Switzerland.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Experience as a machine tool maintenance or service engineer is essential.
- Gantry experience is advantageous.
- Experience on the Heidenhain 530, 640 or 620 variants
- Experience in Siemens 840D
- A self-starter with a get up and go attitude with an aptitude for training.
- Multi skilled background with both electrical and mechanical experience preferred.
