Position: Engineers Mate

Location: Around the Halifax area

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Minimum Wage up to £11.50 per hour (subject to experience level)

We are looking to take on an engineer’s mate to join a team of fitters that install mechanical equipment across the North and the rest of the UK.

This position will be supporting a skilled installation engineer with their daily projects which will include; helping move equipment, use power and hand tools, installing items at height as well as supporting with the driving

The right person for this position will have a passion to work within engineering. They will be happy  to start from the bottom and learn on the job, however it would be preferred if this person already had some form of engineering experience however small, or have worked on commercial sites or construction sites in the past. It would be an advantage if this person is already carrying a CSCS card

Requirements

• Must have a Full UK driving licence
• Based in a short commute to Halifax
• Commercial site experience would be an advantage
• It would be a bonus if this person held a CSCS card
• Happy to learn on the job
• Must be able to communicate with clients on site
• Able to work away when needed

Package

• Basic salary will be based on experience level
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Door to door travel
• Pension
• Overtime available
