Accounts Assistant Role Blackburn £24k - £27k

SER Recruitment have the greatest pleasure in supporting a local Blackburn Business in the growth and development of their Accounts Department. This inspiring company is looking for their next Accounts Assistant super star who they can nurture and mould and support during their career pathway.

Reporting directly into a supportive Financial Controller you will be given every opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, you will also benefit from mentorship and study support will be provided.

Duties will include –

• Organisation of a high volume of Purchase ledger Invoices
• Sales Ledger
• Credit control (small amount)
• Bank Reconciliations
• Company Expenses
• Supporting the Management Accountant with monthly and year end reports.

The role will grow as you do!

Candidate Specification –

• At least 2 yrs. experience within a busy finance department
• Ideally studying AAT
• Competent with Sage 200
• Good Excel knowledge to Pivots and VLOOKUP’s.
• Methodical in approach
• Keen eye for detail
• Excellent in communication both verbally and written.
