Showroom Assistant – Brook Green

Reports To:

The Showroom Assistant will report to Showroom Manager.

Job Overview:

My client is a family owned lighting and homewares retailer of over 30 years standing with five stores and an online website. Our aim is to offer a wide range of quality designer lighting and homewares sourced from around the world and here in the UK. We have become leaders in the design industry by consistently sourcing and supplying a wide range of lighting, bathroom fittings and fixtures, furniture and products for every aspect of your home.

Responsibilities and Duties:

What you will be doing:

• Supporting the day to day running of the Showroom
• Working alongside the showroom manager to ensure all daily tasks are completed
• Dealing with inbound enquiries via footfall or through inbound telephone enquiries
• Respond to and follow up on Sales Leads
• Completion of company database and paperwork

What you need to have:

• Experience in retail is essential, and ideally in the lighting or furniture sector.
• We are looking for someone who is organised and great with customers,
• Must enjoy problem solving
• To love the world of design and architecture.

Details of the role:

• 5 days per week 9.30am to 6pm. The days will usually be the same but there does need to be some flexibility. Working Saturdays as the rota requires.
• Pay depending on experience, annual salary has been prorated to reflect the hours.

• Hours: 37.5 per week on a rota basis
