Machine Tool Service Engineer
Leicester

They have a state-of-the-art product line consisting of milling, turning and additive manufacturing, however, their service engineers are the pride of the company as they provide an exceptional level of customer service to their client base giving them a reason to be chosen.

Requirements:
- Multi-skilled engineers required, as the role will have both mechanical and electrical responsibilities.
- Experience working on machine tool breakdowns, installations and fault finding is essential.
- Experience as a maintenance or service engineer within machine tools is essential.
- Experience with Fanuc controls is highly desirable but not critical.
- Experience with 5 axis milling machines is highly desirable.
- Experience fitting and rebuilding spindles is desirable,
- Commutable to Leicester within a 2-hour distance
- Full clean driving license
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- You will report to the service manager for your day-to-day duties.
- You will perform the installations of new machines.
- You will be responsible for commissioning the newly installed machines.
- You will provide an exceptional level of customer service to their extensive client base.
- You will receive a full induction including health and safety requirements and full product training.
- You will cover a nationwide territory and stay over in provided accommodation when required by the task if it is over 2-3 hours away from home.
- You will receive substantial support from the off-site technical support team back at the office and visit the Leicester site when necessary.
