Position - Management Accountant

Salary -     £45k - £50k

Location –Cambridgeshire FULLY OFFICE BASED

SER Recruitment have the greatest pleasure in supporting a Cambridgeshire company with their search for an experienced Management Accountant to join their already established team. Reporting directly into a supportive Finance Manager you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely and insightful Management Accounts and Financial data to support the business.

Key Responsibilities –

• Preparation of Monthly board packs and schedules
• Posting of daily cash and reconciliations of bank accounts
• Weekly cash reporting
• Maintain and updating of rolling 13-week cash flow forecasting.
• Production of monthly Management Accounts
• Assisting the Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting with year – end financial statements and audit queries.
• Assisting the finance team subsidiary companies when required
• Any other Ad Hoc repots and analysis.

Essential Skills –

• AAT qualified OR part qualified / newly qualified ACCA – CIMA
• Excellent Excel user
• High Attention to detail
• Ability to work off own initiative.
• Able to prioritise and challenge when required.
• Effective written, verbal communication skills
• Works well as part of a team.
• Must have experience with working within a busy high-volume finance department.

Desirable –

• Knowledge of Sage Accounting
