Service Engineer – CNC machine tools
£28,000 – £40,000 (Negotiable upwards dependent on experience) + 38 hr working week + Overtime paid door to door, Saturday 1.5x , Sunday 2x + 5 door company car/ van or car allowance (£30,000 upper limit) + 26 days holiday + 3 days leave at Christmas + bank holidays + company card + premier inn card + meal allowance.

Requirements:
- Candidates must be multi-skilled engineers with a mixture of mechanical and electrical capabilities.
- Fanuc controls experience is highly sought after.
- Heidenhain and Siemens experience is also invaluable.
- Experience with CNC machine tools are required, applicants will not be considered without this.
- Experience as a machine tool service engineer is welcomed.
- Flexibility for overnight stays is a pre-requisite as when travelling anywhere further than 2-3 hours away you will be required to stop over.
- A valid passport is a must as training will take place in their principles in Germany.
The Role:
- Initially you will work shadowing an engineer in a buddy up system following the completion of training in the principles in Germany until you are ready to work individually.
- Working with a range of blue chip and SME clients you will provide an excellent level of customer support when visiting sites.
- The bulk of the role will be providing an efficient level of breakdown response to clients to get their machines up and running in a timely fashion.
- You will cover a nationwide territory; however, the company are trying to limit this by placing you on projects within 2 hours of your residence wherever possible.
- You will also work on several projects nationwide performing large scale installations.
