Position: Trainee Estimator

Location: Commutable to Slough, but also Hybrid

Salary: Between £24,000 and £30,000 subject to experience level

Duration: One year fix term contract (potential for permanent)

We are looking to take on a junior estimator to join an existing sales and estimating team for a very well established HVAC/ Building Services company based in Berkshire

This person will be covering the maternity leave contract of someone who started as a trainee estimator who is now a junior estimator. This person will be going on maternity leave, however, will be available to provide support until they leave.

We would like this person to have some, however small, experience within estimating, however we would also look at taking on a building services graduate who is looking to learn all areas of building services.

This person must he very IT literate, being able to create and adjust spreadsheets with a very high attention to detail. It would be an advantage if this person has a knowledge of service and maintenance contracts.

This position can be worked as a Hybrid role, however we would expect them to attend the office at least one day per week.

It is a contract position, but the department is growing, so if this person is outstanding there could be an opportunity for a permanent position.

Requirements

• Strong IT and Administration skills
• Some experience within building services maintenance or estimating would be an advantage
• Able to commute to Slough when needed
• Degree in building services would be a bonus
• Passionate to start a career in estimating
• Willing to start the position on a contract bases
• Happy to join the managers on site to learn all areas of the business

Package

• Basic salary is subject to experience level
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
