Position: Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £38,000 to £39,000 plus travel time (No on call)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualified Building Services Engineer who a permanent position covering the West Midlands

This position is a little different as we would like this engineer to be happy to train up on the mechanical side as well as using their electrical skills as well as becoming the companies Qualified Supervisor.

The position is working for an HVAC company that is in need of bringing electrical skills into the company, however there is not enough work for a full time electrical person. They need someone that already has experience dealing with Power Supply’s, Wiring Boilers. Controls as well as Changing Pumps and Motors.

The right person for this position will be level 3 qualified with 17^th or 18^th Edition. Test and inspect would be a bonus but not essential. We require them to have some working hvac experience and be willing to pick up and train to be able to do more mechanical work alongside electrical. It would be an advantage if this person has already been or would like to be a qualified supervisor.

We would also look at manufacturing engineer who would like to get into buildings services.

Requirements

• Experience in Building Services Maintenance
• Must be level 3 qualified with 17^th or 18^th Edition
• Test and inspect would be an advantage but not essential
• Some working knowledge of ahu’s, fan coils and pumps
• Happy to pick up more mechanical skills on top of electrical
• Full UK driving licence
• Happy to train to become the company QS
• Good knowledge of controls and power supply’s

Package

• Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
