Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our cutting-edge packaging machinery, labelling machines, and automation solutions to clients in the food industry. This position requires a deep understanding of the industry, technical expertise, and strong communication and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients in the food industry who can benefit from our packaging machinery, labelling machines, and automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our solutions.
- Collaborate with our technical team to provide clients with customized solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed sales proposals and quotes, addressing client specifications and cost considerations.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives, contributing to the company's growth and success.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements to effectively position our products in the market.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to showcase our offerings and expand the company's presence.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams, including sales support, product development, and customer service, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide excellent post-sales support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Technical solution based selling experience.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the food packaging machinery and automation sector.
- Strong understanding of packaging machinery, labelling machines, and automation solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A self-starter with the motivation and drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of the Yorkshire and surrounding markets.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as necessary.
- Familiarity with CRM software for tracking sales activities and managing client relationships.
