BMS Technical Sales Engineer
Location: London / Southeast
£70,000 - £80,000 - OTE plus company car/car allowance, fuel card, mobile phone, pension scheme, private healthcare, life insurance and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days
This is an opportunity to join a leading BMS controls company, who specialise in cutting-edge products as well as energy-efficient initiatives, and full bespoke solutions.
Due to planned growth, we are looking for an BMS Technical Sales Engineer to assist in project and service sales to existing clients and new business.
You will be instrumental in driving sales efforts, blending technical expertise with robust sales acumen. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will grasp customer requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales support.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Collaborating with the sales & engineering teams to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Providing technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals and quotations.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Keeping up to date with company & industry trends and product knowledge.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Training on core BMS Manufacturers (Trend, Siemens, Distech, Tridium) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
- Full UK driving licence & willingness to travel to meet with clients.
