Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with the potential to earn a small bonus, 6% private pension, life insurance 3x salary, 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays and an opportunity to progress.

This role will suit a structural designer who will work closely with other parts of the business whilst maintaining their involvement in the more creative/design side of the role.

They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:

• 3-6 years experience as a Cad Designer, ideally in the corrugated sector, but other areas will be considered.
• Using AG CAD and Artois CAD software to design corrugated packaging for customers supplying the industrial and consumer markets.
• A sense of business relationships and customer service.
• Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that all designs can be produced economically High interest in the technical dimension of the products
• Understand certain tolerances – Corrugated can be learnt.
• Utilise Packaging software.
• Create simple print diagrams in Adobe illustrator.
• Develop and then utilise commercial knowledge and judgement to final price estimates
