My clients are a bespoke manufacturer of engineering solutions along with a leading supplier of hydraulic, pneumatic and electric equipment into various sectors within these industries

Due to growth and the rapid increase of product demand my client are now looking for a Draughtsman to join their multi-disciplined design engineering team. The Draughtsman (draughtsperson) will be tasked with generating manufacturing drawings from models, which have been generated in Autodesk Inventor for design approval and will require individual parts and components to be drawn to created BOMs.

Location: Rotherham

£27,000 - £30,000 DOE, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension,

Working 37.5 hrs per week (Monday -Friday)

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Making corrections to drawings as requested.
• Create documentation including BOMs.
• Creating manufacturing drawings from 3D models.
• Ensuring the compliance of drafting and engineering standards are followed.
• Updating the required internal database.
• Work closely with various teams to gather information regarding products before producing the required drawings/models.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• ONC or above in an engineering subject.
• An understanding of 2D and 3D Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
• Previous Mechanical Engineering experience is advantageous.
• An understanding of limits and fits would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
• Able to prioritise workload.
• Work to tight deadlines to a high standard.
