The Company:

 A leading distributor of cutting-edge event lighting systems, supplying to integrators, venues and leisure facilities internationally. Over 20 years strong and still expanding, the company name has placed itself as a household name within the AV and Events sector.

Expanding further, we are now looking for a Technical Sales Advisor to join the team to provide customers with that all important technical advice and guidance to help them make informed buying decisions.

Position Overview:

As a Technical Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the sales team, utilising your lighting knowledge to provide expert technical support and guidance to both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Handle inbound sales enquiries, demonstrating a deep understanding of event lighting systems and associated technologies.

-          Build accurate and competitive quotations for clients, showcasing a comprehensive knowledge of DMX lighting, theatre lighting systems, and moving head lights.

-          Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales and post-sales phases, ensuring their needs are met effectively and promptly.

-          Collaborate with the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge, contributing to the overall success of the sales function.

-          Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to offer innovative solutions to clients.

-          Provide input into the procurement of new and exciting products that enter the market.

Requirements:

-          Strong knowledge of DMX lighting, theatre lighting systems, and moving head lights.

-          Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.

-          Previous sales experience would be ideal but not essential.

Package:

-          Salary between £24,000 - £32,000

-          24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
