Location: Auckland, New Zealand
$55,000 - $65,000 (£26,500 - £31,300) plus bonus plan, flights covered and 2 weeks accommodation upon arrival
We are an Asbestos/Environmental and Engineering Consultancy based on the North Island of New Zealand, who are driven by solving the important infrastructure and environmental challenges facing New Zealand.
Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Bulk Analyst to join our growing team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Routine preparation and analysis of asbestos samples.
Bulk identification and fibre counting in the laboratory
Experience with soil analysis for asbestos (both qualitative and quantitative methods).
Sample management and administration
Commitment to good laboratory practice and operations
Assist KTP in their duties
To apply you MUST have or hold:
A minimum of 2 years lab experience
Hold P401
Experience with asbestos laboratory systems for identification and air testing is desirable.
Commitment to Quality, Safety, and Good Laboratory Practice
Excellent understanding of ISO 17025 and IANZ standards
