BMS Minor Works Manager

Location – London & Surrounding Areas
My client is looking for a Minor Works Manager who will work closely with the Support & Projects Departments for delivering effective and profitable outcomes.
They are looking for a candidate who has proven technical and sales experience to build and maintain strong customer relationships and target their own sales opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to show they understand operational, commercial and contractual KPI’s as well as a proven record of maximising client involvement and feedback for operational service delivery and productivity.
The Role:
- Complete all aspects of Minor Works Quotation (<£10k), this will include review of initial enquiry, estimation of the minor works required, submittal of quotation and the transition from quotation to minor works.
- Delivery of all design, installation, engineering and associated preliminaries.
- Take responsibility for the profitable delivery of Minor Works, along with the timely issuance of customer invoices.
- As well as the above the Minor Works manager will look to target sales leads and opportunities to maintain and increase company turnover.
- Participation in meetings and conferences to make sure communication and coordination with all Minor Works stakeholders is constantly up to date.
The Candidate:
- Experience within the BMS sector within a technical or sales role, with experience in estimations of works up to or over the value of £10k.
- Good commercial understanding and delivery of profitability and cost control.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Experience with compliance with company policies and the ability to contribution towards the improvement of these.
- Ability to manage a diverse team e.g. operatives, subcontractors and back-office staff.
