My client is a highly successful and well-established machine tool agent for CNC Milling, Turning and Automation machines from specialist manufacturers throughout Asia and Europe. Due to an increase in demand, they are now on the lookout for a highly experienced and accomplished area sales manager to join their accomplished sales team.

They are looking for a strong new business-oriented professional looking to expand their reach whilst managing their impressive list of existing accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven area sales manager looking to step up his career as there is progression to sales director coming available within the next few years due to succession planning.

Commission structure:

5% commission on any new customer brought to the business.

2% commission on existing accounts

1% commission on house accounts.

AOV: £210,000 Target: 2 million

Responsibilities:

-          Proactively identifying leads and new areas of growth for sales

-          Producing weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasting when required.

-          Providing quotes for new customers

-          Working within a team environment to achieve your monthly and quarterly KPI’s.

-          Assisting with strategic planning within the business.

-          The role will be 75% new business and 25% account management.

-          You will promote their portfolio of automation, milling and turning solutions within the marketspace.

-          You will sell the services offered by the machine tool agent including applications, service, breakdown and technical support as a solution.

-          Reporting to the sales director you will be targeted to achieve 10 machine tool sales to hit a target of £2 million.

-          You will be home based and manage your own diary.

Requirements:

-          A valid UK passport is required.

-          The right to work in the UK (My client cannot offer sponsorship)

-          A valid UK driving license

-          5 years plus experience in Machine tool sales (Industry experience is essential)

-          A strong network of contacts within the industry

-          You must be a dynamic and ambitious individual with strong communications skills.

-          Technical aptitude

-          A project-oriented seller.
