Field Service Engineer – Machine tool OEM – Milton Keynes
Base £35,000 - £50,000 DOE Starting salary based on a 40 hour working week , paid door to door, OTE estimated between 55K - 65, Bonus every year for personal and departmental performance between £3,000 and £4,000. Overtime is paid at 1.5 x and 2x on Sundays. Death in service + Health Insurance + Pension + life insurance.

Due to continued reinvestment into the company from their global partners they are looking to expand their service team of highly skilled engineers in and around the Scotland, Central Machine Tools. The successful candidate will receive world class training from the best of the best in engineering.
They service a wide range of industries from the MOD sector, aerospace, automotive and medical sectors. Requirements:
- Multi-skilled engineers only as the role has both electrical and mechanical responsibilities.
- CNC Machine tool maintenance or service experience is essential.
- Experience with 3-5 axis machines is required.
- Experience with Fanuc and ABB robotics is also beneficial.
- Siemens 840D experience is required, Fanuc and Heidenhain controls also beneficial.
- Candidates must be flexible to adapt to the service engineer lifestyle.
- Engineers must be multi-skilled and able to respond competently to mechanical and electrical faults.
- Strong communication skills are required as engineers will be the face of the company on client premises.
- Multi-skilled engineers only as the role has both electrical and mechanical responsibilities.

The Role:
- You will provide an exceptionally high level of customer service to DMG Mori’s impressive client base.
- You will fault find on both mechanical and electrical machinery malfunctions.
- Predominantly you will work on breakdowns and installations and assist on commissioning work when required.
- Reporting to the service manager you will respond to customers needs on a nationwide basis.
- Overnight stays are involved in the role (all expenses covered) so you could be away up to 5 nights per week
- Weekend work is occasionally required at a premium rate.
