Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team based in Gloucester. My client is an international provider of advanced telecommunications solutions for mission and business critical networks. In this role you will be required to drive new business for my client selling IoT, Cellular, Microwave, IP Infrastructure, Security, Support Services, Drone Networks, Legacy TDM, WiFi, Security Cabinets, Antenna and Synchronization.

Package

-          Basic Salary: £40,000-£55,000 dependant on experience

-          20 days holiday plus bank holidays

-          Pension Scheme

-          Car Allowance: £5,000

Responsibilities of this role:


  • Identify and quantify business sectors for broadband, utilities, government/defence along with direct and indirect sell including system integrators.
  • Search potential market areas for telecom opportunities.
  • Present telecommunication solutions to potential users.
  • Proactively present value proposition.
  • Attend industry events & conferences to network & promote products & the business.
  • Build relationships & stay up to date with new products and technologies.
  • Creating sales forecasts & actively work towards reaching them and presenting sales information to the Senior Management Team.
  • Active participation in completion of Tender applications received into the business.
  • Deliver in person & online Sales presentations with prospective & existing customers.
  • Work alongside our engineering team to find resolutions and solutions for all new and existing customers.

Expectations


  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify new business markets, clients, partnerships, products & services & maintaining existing ones.
  • Develop & build new customer relationships & manage expectations thereafter.
  • Quantify network operator projects.
  • Close sales orders from Telecom network operators.
