Salary: £33,500 - £50,300 + company car/cash allowance, performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

About the Role
My client is seeking a BMS Controls Engineer to join their team at a prestigious university in London. This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to ensure the optimal performance of the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) at one of the world's leading universities.
You will be operating in a variety of environments, including:
- Data Centres
- Healthcare Facilities
- Pharmaceutical Facilities
- Laboratories and Research Facilities
- Higher Education Institutions
- Student Accommodation
- Leisure Facilities
Flexibility to meet customer requirements in alignment with campus operating hours is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Maintain BMS: Ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of BMS across the campus.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Engineers, Junior Engineers, the Site Operator, and the Site Coordinator to integrate and maintain building systems.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve BMS-related technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Support Implementation: Assist in BMS small works including upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
- Monitor System Performance: Continuously assess system performance data to identify improvement areas and implement necessary adjustments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as university policies.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in BMS software and hardware with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Experience with systems such as Trend, Honeywell, or Siemens is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in BMS controls engineering or a similar role.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in BMS or energy management are advantageous but not mandatory.
