My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Smart Buildings Site Manager to oversee a prestigious London university campus. This field-based role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of Central London's most vibrant areas, from South Kensington to White City.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a dedicated Smart Buildings Site Team comprising Senior Engineers, Junior Engineers, Operators, and Coordinators.
- BEMS Operation: Ensure the seamless operation of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) across all buildings, maintaining optimal performance and efficiency.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for Imperial College London, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Communication: Foster clear and effective communication within the team, with clients, and across all levels of the organization.
- Compliance: Navigate the complexities of working in high-stakes environments, always ensuring reliability and compliance.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in managing BEMS, with a strong background in critical environments such as data centres, healthcare, or education.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of BEMS technology and systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
