Location: London
Salary: £29,000 - £43,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
Due to continued growth within the region, my client is recruiting for a Smart Buildings Site Operator to join the team in London. The Site Operator will be based on-site at a renowned University in London. This is a crucial role in a critical environment, ensuring the seamless operation of sophisticated building systems.
You will be working in diverse building environments including Data Centres, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory & Research, Higher Education, Student Accommodation, and Leisure Facilities. Flexibility is required to support the customer requirements, in line with the operating hours of the campuses.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively oversee and manage these systems, responding to technical queries and alarms.
- Address technical issues promptly using advanced technologies and BEMS systems, making necessary adjustments and troubleshooting problems.
- Deliver regular system reports on technical equipment performance, building comfort, and energy efficiency. Confidently discuss data with local field engineers to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and suppliers, representing SSE effectively and ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Organise and dispatch workloads efficiently, adhering to set SLAs. Update the client CAFM system to keep stakeholders informed of job progress.
What do I need?
- Previous experience with Trend and Tridium systems is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct building system issues promptly.
