Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Project Engineer/Commissioning Engineer to join our team in London and the South East. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000, a company vehicle, fuel card, 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases with service), and the option to have your birthday off. We provide travel time compensation, occasional overtime pay, a laptop, and a field based position.
Responsibilities
- Utilize project and commissioning engineering experience to oversee sub-contractors and ensure successful project completion
- Manage projects ranging from £50,000 to £1,500,000, providing regular updates and reports to project managers
- Work on projects within social housing, local authorities, councils, and commercial sectors
- Enjoy a generous 70% discount on tools, and attend regular meetings to discuss project progress
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Project or Commissioning Engineer
- FIA training and manufacturers training
- Ability to manage projects of varying sizes and complexities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with sub-contractors and project managers
- Familiarity with the social housing, local authorities, councils, and commercial sectors
