Fire and Security Install and Commission Engineer
Location; Greater Manchester
Salary: £35,000 DOE
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Install and Commission Engineer to join our team in the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate will play a vital role in installing and commissioning security systems for a wide range of clients, including commercial and industrial, healthcare, and more. Responsibilities
- Install and commission security systems such as Galaxy, Paxton, Texecom, and Gallagher for clients in the Greater Manchester area
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide professional installation and commissioning services
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in installing and commissioning security systems, including knowledge of Galaxy, Paxton, Texecom, and Gallagher systems
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites in a company-provided car or van, with a fuel card provided
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Day-to-day
- Travel to client sites within the Greater Manchester area
- Install and commission security systems with precision and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with clients and address any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Take advantage of ongoing training and support to enhance skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of installations and commissioning work
- Work occasional paid overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
